New single, new compilation| 2006/8/28

In anticipation of the new album Your Mileage May Vary, the third single from the album has been released in its album form. "Frozen World" is a paradoxically upbeat song about isolation expressed in wintry metaphors. Remixes are forthcoming.

"Frozen World", will on the upcoming Section44 compilation Sector1, along with songs from Empire State Human, Glow, Provision, and more great artists! Set for release in June 2006.

RIP Ampcast, and previous albums| 2006/3/1

Ampcast was one of the first on-line music distributor web sites, opening in 1998. It even predated mp3.com, and it pioneered many ideas we now take for granted, like selling music downloads, providing videos, and custom CD manufacturing. Unfortunately, it never profited on its innovations. In February, Ampcast closed its doors after 8 years in business, and along with it went the DV back catalogue. Some time this spring, all of the albums that were released through Ampcast will be moved to CafePress and will be available again. But for now, all albums previous to Your Mileage May Vary are out of print.

The first album that will be re-released through CafePress will be the 2005 compilation The Best of David Vesel Volume 1 1987-1994 and then in reverse chronological order.
